About:
Dr. Matt Downey is a skilled and compassionate dentist who earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Iowa. He and his wife, Sarah, have three adult children, and they enjoy watching them embark on their own journeys into adulthood. After many years of supporting their children through school, volleyball, swimming, and other activities, Dr. Downey and Sarah are now embracing the joys of empty nesting. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Downey enjoys working on home improvement projects, having Thursday morning breakfasts with his parents, and exploring his newfound passion for boating and water skiing. He feels fortunate to work alongside a dedicated team and to serve his patients, finding joy in every day spent in his practice.
Robert Gantz, DDS

About:
Robert Gantz is a 1998 graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Born in Burlington, Iowa, he returned to Iowa after working in St. Louis, MO, making Marshalltown his home in 2001 to work in private practice. He enjoys all aspects and procedures involved with the creative process of restoring dental function and working with patients. He and his wife have two cats and enjoy almost anything outdoors: hiking, biking, kayaking, and hopefully soon, trout fishing. They wait patiently each year for the Iowa winter to end!
